INSPECTION REVIEW AND MAINTENANCE VISIT Wednesday 24 June 2026
25th of June, 2026
The Cemetery Committee conducts periodic inspections to ensure that all graves comply with the Cemetery Policy and are maintained to a high standard of care. These inspections help preserve the dignity, appearance, and safety of the cemetery for all visitors.
To assist with this, we kindly ask all plot holders to observe the following requirements:
- Please do not place any items outside the memorial stone or memorial plinth.
- All flowers and plants must be kept on the memorial plinth. The only exception is one flower vase, which may be placed beside the memorial on lawn areas.
- Items on pathside plots must not extend beyond the boundaries of the memorial stone.
- Woodland plots must remain free of pots, loose ornaments, and other artificial items, in keeping with the natural character and aesthetics of the woodland setting.
- Lanterns, solar lights, and illuminated ornaments of any kind are not permitted.
As part of these inspections, the Cemetery Committee may remove dead flowers and plants, broken items, and any decorations or objects that are not permitted under the Cemetery Policy.
Any non-permitted items that are removed will be carefully placed beside the cemetery shed or entrance fence for collection. Removed items will be retained for 30 days. After this period, any uncollected items will be respectfully disposed of.
We thank all plot holders for their understanding, cooperation, and continued support in helping us maintain the high standards, dignity, and peaceful environment of the cemetery.
